January 2, 2011

Well the weather has gone from balmy to winter again.  The bus started so I'm ready to go in the morning.  I went to the 9 a.m service at St. Paul's.  The singing was phenomenal.  The music was provided by the Allisons.  Thar's a lot of talent in that thar family! LOL

Liz Honeyford delivered the sermon on God's greatness from Genesis 20.  My take on the sermon, let God control all aspects of our lives, even more so when we are afraid.  On our own, we just muck things up, but God's goodness in infinite.

I'm looking forward to Wednesday nights attending the discussion on Francis Chan's book, Crazy Love.  I'm looking forward to it.

It was good to see everyone between the services.  I do enjoy socializing! LOL

Happy New Year!!!! It's 2011!

Saturday. January 1, 2011.  It's raining and warm for Southern Ontario.  It is so mild that the snow is almost gone around the house.

This is my year to re invent my life.  I am coming to the end of a year of mourning.  I still miss Leonard like a crazy woman at times, but it is getting easier to cope. It is time to move forward and really contribute to my life.  I want to thank everyone who has touched my life in one way or another this past year.  I know that my family loves and cares about me and I know that I have "adopted" family that I couldn't function without.  My goal for this year is to make a difference; in my life, in your life, wherever God leads me.  Life is a gift and I want to share this wonderful gift.

At this time, I'm planning to remain in Ontario.  I love this country.  I'm not too fond of winter, but there are ways around that! ;) I still haven't decided how to support myself, but I have a few ideas and need to "flesh" them out!
